Henry A. Posada
Mr. Posada is certified as a Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization (less than 8% of California immigration attorneys are Board Certified by the State Bar) and has served as a Commissioner on the Immigration and Nationality Law Advisory Commission (INLAC) of the State Bar of California.
Mr. Posada is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) Immigration Law Section. He is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, as well as the United States District Court for both the Central and Southern Districts of California.
Henry A. Posada received his Juris Doctor degree in 1995 from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1995.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1992. Since the commencement of his practice, Mr. Posada has represented hundreds of individuals and businesses in immigration related matters, including acquisition of lawful permanent resident status based on family and employment relationships, defense against deportation and removal, and naturalization.
Mr. Posada has particular expertise in the area of immigrants with criminal histories, including post-conviction relief, defense against removal based on criminal history, and advising criminal defense counsel on immigration consequences for their immigrant clientele.
